Embark for a land of water and rivers

The territory of Haute Mayenne is rich in a unique and authentic heritage. On the programme, wide open spaces and villages of character for a life-size stay and a whole range of activities in privileged locations.

Let history take you on board!

Crossed by the Mayenne, Colmont, Varenne and Aron rivers, the Haute-Mayenne region reveals an exceptional heritage along the water.
First of all Jublains, a Roman town and the largest ancient site in the west of France.
Mayenne, whose castle contains an extraordinary Carolingian palace.
Further on, Fontaine-Daniel, a charming little working-class village, which has been living off the Caniles de Mayenne for more than 200 years.
And then Pontmain, Lassay or the Jardins des Renaudies, the remarkable Garden of La Pellerine…
