It starts from the church. Take the Saint-Pierre-sur-Orthe road, D203, for 2 km, then right at Le Buis, take the track and when you reach the Courcité-Sillé road D16, cross over (be careful, it's a busy road and there's a bend in the road) and take the dirt track opposite. Cross the small road at the village of La Chauvière, continue straight ahead on the dirt track and keep to the edge of a small copse near Bel Air. At this point, you can shorten the path by 3.5 km, in which case you will not go into the Moussaye woods. For the full route, continue along the edge of the Bois de la Moussaye and you will come to a small road (signposted to Sillé-le-Guillaume on the left). Turn right, still on the edge of the wood, and enjoy the panoramic views. Pass in front of a water tower (beautiful viewpoint on the left), stay on the edge of the wood (leaving a path on the left that leads to St-Pierre-sur-Orthe / Sillé-le-Guillaume). Still on the edge of the Bois de la Moussaye, go straight back up, then before you come to a magnificent covered path in the wood - you can continue straight on for 50 metres to see a 17th-century cross on the left - turn around and find the path leading up into the wood (beautiful view). At Bel-Air, leave the wood and continue on a small road for about 1.500 km (again, beautiful view!). Cross the D16 at Ruisseau Chaudet (take care). Continue straight ahead on a road that leads to St-Germain. At La Pavardière, take a dirt track on the left, passing the lagoons and reaching the village of Saint-Germain-de-Coulamer on the right.
