Villette en Direct is the result of two people working together, in life as well as on the farm! Sheep farmers since August 2017, we produce the cereals and fodder we use to feed our flock on our farm. Since November 2022, we have been welcoming you to our farm to share our passion for our profession with you.
The adventure began in 2017 when Julien took over the La Cour de Villette farm, which had been involved in sheep farming for 30 years and in organic farming for 15 years. The flock now numbers 420 ewes, and Julien's ambition is to keep the farm on a human scale, while respecting simple values: preserving the natural cycle of the ewes and the land by returning as far as possible to small-scale farming.
Charlène, who has a wealth of experience in business, joined Julien on the farm in November 2021, with a view to learning the trade of livestock farming and putting her skills to work in direct sales: reducing the number of intermediaries, adding value to the quality of their produce and, above all, benefiting from a fair return from consumers. As an extension of this, she will be opening an educational farm on the farm in November 2022.
