A show linked to the temporary exhibition on the theme of the fortress in the 19th century. Listen to two colourful characters from the period when Victor Hugo and Prosper Mérimée themselves fell under the spell of these ancient walls.

In César's Camp, Victoriette welcomes Modeste Lepetit, editor of the Parisian newspaper Le Magasin Savant des Curiosités du Voyageur. They meet and talk, each proud of their knowledge. Follow them as they visit the Roman camp at Jublains, where knowledge is not what it seems.
