Born of human activity, it is now a natural area with a rich and unusual flora and fauna. This site of around two hectares is unique in its kind.
The Égoutelles site has had an eventful history over the last century. Between 1900 and 1970, the upper part of the site was used to extract sand from the Armorican sandstone. Today, protected and managed by man, nature has regained its rights and is flourishing peacefully.
