The public school living museum, which opened in Laval in 1991, currently has over 10,000 objects to remind visitors of what school was like in the past.
Visitors can see a recreation of a classroom from the early 20th century, complete with period furniture and classroom equipment.

A second room is devoted to permanent exhibitions.
