Humans and the climate from prehistoric times to the present day
What if global warming began in prehistoric times?
Examine its causes and consequences in the light of archaeology. Follow in the footsteps of prehistoric humans who had to adapt to explore the world as their environment changed.
The Museum of Prehistory takes a look back at the natural changes between the ice ages and the interglacial periods, which have shaped the landscape from a global scale to the Erve valley!
The exhibition, which is open to all, features digital and interactive experiments accessible to children, with hands-on activities to help them understand how the climate has changed over the last 2.6 million years.
The exhibition is included in museum admission, at no extra charge.
Produced by the Musée de Préhistoire, in partnership with the Institut national de recherches archéologiques préventives (INRAP).
