With its cross-disciplinary programming combining marginal artistic expressions, contemporary art and creation in all its forms, MANAS is asserting its desire to build bridges and create exchange. In keeping with its primary missions of conserving, studying and disseminating its collections, the Museum is positioned as a resource platform for the visual arts. As a place of discovery, creativity and artistic practice, it invites all members of the public to take ownership of a shared heritage, to encounter concrete, real works of art and to understand the artistic gesture.
The wide range of activities on offer, with a focus on young people and families, takes the mystery out of the cultural institution and widens the field of possibilities. The museum's original policy of opening its doors to the public and offering its services outside the walls removes the obstacles that prevent people from coming to the museum, which, supported by a network of local partners, provides access to works of art for all those who are far removed from culture.
For groups: guided tours of the permanent collections or temporary exhibitions by appointment on 02 53 74 12 30.
