Viviane Michel, visual artist, and Nicolas Mareau, woodturner and wood craftsman, create unique and singular pieces in their "Maison-Atelier", an inspiring place to live and work.
Nicolas' expertise and curiosity lead him to explore wood on an ongoing basis. He finds a balance between mastery and letting go of this living material. He listens to the wood that guides his movements.
Viviane's work is singular and poetic. Like a craftswoman, she draws, engraves, embroiders, knits, pencils and .... mixes and twists different creative techniques. She draws inspiration from her immediate environment and from nature.
Alongside their individual work, Viviane and Nicolas are exploring a joint creation where wood and thread meet in harmony and sensitivity.

1 - WOODTURNING COURSES
2-hour introductory course from age 14: €60
Learn how to make a simple piece, top, cup, etc.
Individual adult introductory course :
Half-day (4H): 100€ - 1 day (7H): 160€ with picnic on site if you wish.
2 days: 250€ - Learn the basics of woodturning - Master the main tools: gouge, chisel, plane, etc. and the different uses of each. - Acquire the right gestures - Use complementary tools: barley grain, cutter, scrapers, hollowing gouges, etc.
Public: Beginners and advanced. All materials and wood included

2 - WOOD WORKSHOP :
From 1 to 4 people
Workshop to make a birdhouse or nesting box or other small items (to be determined together according to your wishes) from 2pm to 6pm.
