This sanctuary, which has been in existence for 50 years, looks after a thousand animals of 120 different species. Over a shaded area of 23 hectares, you will discover birds, raccoons, monkeys, reptiles, felines, bears and herbivores. Each animal has its own story to tell, from different sources (private individuals, zoos, circuses, laboratories, etc.). Mediators will meet you along the way for themed meetings on "the animals that surround us", "the life of primates", etc.
The Refuge de l'Arche is managed by the CEPAN association (Club d'Étude et de Protection des Animaux et de la Nature), which has been recognised as being of public utility since November 2014. New for 2022: cat parks, new primate areas, European zone.
