Le Moulin

Le Moulin offers you the experience of immersing yourself in the river Mayenne. The gîte is spacious, with kitchen, living room with fireplace (36m²), 3 bedrooms and 2 shower/bathrooms. Terrace and footbridge overhanging the water.
This former flour mill (1800) is a fishing gîte, with a private fishing room (sink, fridge) and a 7-person boat (oar or motor €40/week, life jackets).
For the more adventurous, you can take the boat to the restaurant on the opposite bank or take your bike and follow the Vélofrancette (towpath), an exceptional experience!
Please note: every 5 years, the Mayenne river is emptied for works (2024, 2029, etc.), and fishing is banned from September to November. Guided tours and walks are organised to discover what lies beneath the river.
The boat can accommodate up to 4 people, or 2 people and 2 bikes.

In Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne (9.5km): all shops, services, museums, a national theatre scene (le Carré), a cinema, an aquatic complex with indoor and outdoor pools, a large slide, a wellness area... as well as a marina offering boats for hire (electric and pedal), muscle bikes and electric bikes, kayaks, paddleboards... A town with the Fleur d'Or label, its gardens are a must-see! Don't miss the Refuge de l'Arche with its thousand animals, the most visited site in the Mayenne.
You can join the Vélo Francette, a green route, with the Mayenne viaduct, about 7km away.
You're in the south of Mayenne, close to Anjou, and Angers is just 50 minutes away. So discover the town, its lifestyle, its museums and its theme park: Terra Botanica.
