Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of traditional cutlery in the heart of the Mayenne region. The Coutellerie de Saint-Sulpice opens the doors of its workshops for an authentic and fascinating visit. Whether you're on your own, with the family or in a group (up to 50 people), come and discover the secrets behind the manufacture of traditional knives, from forging to sharpening.
Guided tours and workshops:
Individuals and groups alike can take part in a guided tour of the workshops, where each stage of manufacture will be presented to you by passionate knifemakers. For an even more immersive experience, the cutlery workshop also offers creative knife-making workshops (3h, 4h, 1 day or 2 days) for adults, where you can learn the tricks of the trade and leave with your own knife.
Extend your visit by discovering the on-site shop: a selection of handcrafted knives, forged objects and unique creations made in the workshop.
