  • This loop will take you through the hedged farmland of the Mayenne region.

  • Location: Le Bourgneuf-la-Fôret, 20km north-west of Laval on the D30.

    Starting point: Salle polyvalente in Le Bourgneuf-la-Fôret

    1 From the car park, cross the D123 and go 50 metres to the right to turn left into the leisure park (children's playground and picnic tables). At the exit, turn right onto Chemin des Brosses and then left onto Route du Bourgneuf in Launay-Villiers.
    2. straight on, shortcut possible via the Petit Aumarin path (7.3 km circuit). Turn left towards La Fouilletière...

    3 Continue straight on. Turn left towards Launay-Villiers.
    4. turn right and, after the Plessis des Estronnets goat farm, cross the route du Bourgneuf at Launay-Villiers (take care). Turn right onto the Petit Aumarin footpath.
    5 Continue straight ahead, joining the D123. Turn right and follow the path alongside the road for 250 m. Turn left towards La Maion Neuve. At junction 173, turn right as far as the next crossroads. Go straight ahead on the bocage circuit.
    Turn right and after 500 m turn left towards La Gortière and take a small path to the left of the village hall.
