Château de la Lanfrière in Montjean is a 19th-century dwelling with a formal garden and English parkland.
Built around 1840 by Mr Morin Blottais, an industrialist from Laval and a direct descendant of the current owners, this dwelling comprises :

- a south facade with a very regular tufa-based design. With its 3 heads representing the owner and his family and 4 corner turrets,
- a north facade, in the middle of which, on the 1st floor, you can see the back of the chapel in pure troubadour style,
- a wooden grand staircase

In front of the dwelling :
- a French garden bordered by a balustrade dating from the construction of the house and a charming green room,
- a large English park (15 ha) with many remarkable trees,
- a perfectly homogeneous group of service buildings with 2 large main buildings and, above all, a Chinese dovecote.

Visits by appointment include the entire exterior, the main entrance and the chapel.

The Château is open to visitors on "Rendez-vous aux Jardins" days and on Heritage Days, without booking.
