Carmen and David Cholet, producers of aromatic plants, perennials and dried flowers.
Dried flowers at Champfrémont are a family affair. In 1984, Carmen and her husband set up production at Le Thuret. David Cholet, their son who trained in horticulture, took over his parents' business in 2005. Today, he and his mum produce, pick and dry some of the 50 varieties of flowers that grow around the house. From spring to summer, from the field or the drying shed on the first floor of the house, it's an explosion of colour!
As well as dried flowers in bulk or in arrangements, Carmen and David also sell herbs, grasses (thyme, chives, parsley, rosemary, tarragon, etc.) and many varieties of perennials (Euchera, red, blue and purple sage, Lithodora, etc.) and grasses (Fescue, Stipa, etc.).
David and Carmen Cholet can be found at the markets in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne on Saturdays and at the Jacobins market in Le Mans every Sunday.
