Settled south of the town since 1859, the 45 Cistercian-Trappistine nuns of La Coudre welcome to their abbey a growing number of guests seeking spiritual guidance.
The nuns also welcome anyone wishing to attend the services celebrated in the abbey church.
In the Monastic Gallery, which opens onto a vast shop, there is an exhibition on the origins, spirituality, history and face of the sisters' community.
In their shop, you can buy products from La Coudre and other monastic communities: Trappe cheese matured in the Abbey cellars, desserts prepared by the sisters, chocolates, cakes, jams, confectionery, delicatessen products, religious articles, etc. There is also a bookshop where you can broaden your horizons and choose from a wide range of books for adults and children.
