VISITE - Parc du Château de Craon

Enjoy a stroll through the immense grounds of Château de Craon. The 18th-century château is set in a remarkable setting of greenery, divided between an English park, a formal garden and a large vegetable garden, with 6 km of paths lined with trees over a hundred years old and more than 150 species of plants. A wash-house, an ice-house and outbuildings complete this remarkably well-preserved ensemble.

The park is also an ecosystem in which numerous animal species live. You may come across horses, goats, cows, hens, geese, swans, ducks, deer, rabbits, hares, badgers, squirrels and many species of birds and fish.

Open from 1 April to 1 November from 1pm to 7pm. Closed on Saturdays (reserved for weddings).

47 hectares of parkland. Routes from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

ADMISSION FEES
Admission to the park includes a paper guide with a detailed map of the park and access to the treasure hunt for children.

Standard rate for adults aged 18 and over: €5
Reduced rate for under-18s, students and large families: €3.5.
Free for children under 6.
