Based in Mayenne since 2021, this passionate ceramist divides her time between artistic creation and passing on her skills through introductory sessions in throwing and modelling. In her workshop, each piece is born from a sketch and takes shape on the wheel: decorative objects or tableware, all are unique or made in small series.
She works exclusively with Saint-Amand stoneware, a noble local clay, and makes her own glazes from natural raw materials (silica, feldspar, chalk, etc.) and colouring oxides. Each creation undergoes two firings: the first at 980°C, known as the "dégourdis firing", then a second at 1280°C after glazing. It's a demanding, meticulous process, and one you'll want to experience at first hand.
