The Pays d'Art et d'Histoire Coëvrons-Mayenne invites you to discover an emblematic residence on the banks of the Mayenne: the Château de Montgiroux.
Built in 1868 by Pierre-Félix Delarue for the Count of Robien, Château de Montgiroux is a masterpiece of 19th-century architecture. With its brick and tufa decor, it draws its inspiration from the Renaissance and Louis XIII styles, interacting with its vast English-style park, its magnificently preserved outbuildings and the river below. Follow our tour guide and Pierrick Barreau, a researcher with the Inventaire and a specialist in residences on the banks of the Mayenne.
