Visite guidée de l'entreprise SMM, expert en soudure et systèmes d’échappement à Bais

SMM (Société Mayennaise de Métallerie), a family-run business based in Bais, has been building on its valuable expertise in precision metalwork since 1982. Specialising in the manufacture of silencers, pipes and exhaust systems, as well as one-offs and small series for displays and a variety of objects, SMM combines traditional craftsmanship with technical excellence.

In over 4,000 m² of workshops, a highly qualified team designs and manufactures metal parts in compliance with the strictest welding standards (ISO 9001, EN 15085). Take a guided tour and discover the day-to-day work of these steel craftsmen, the high-precision tools they use and the ingenuity required to manufacture bespoke parts.

The tour is part of the Journées Régionales de la Visite d'Entreprise (Regional Company Visit Days), an initiative that promotes local expertise and brings the public closer to the world of business.
