In his workshop nestling in the heart of the region, woodturner Nicolas works with respect, passion and intuition. The wood he uses is gleaned locally, close to his workshop. Each piece is the result of an encounter between technical mastery and letting go, where it's often the material itself that dictates the final shape. Nicolas lets himself be guided by the veins, curves and accidents in the wood... to create unique, lively and inspired objects.
During the visit, he'll show you the turning techniques, his tools, his sensitive approach to this noble and unpredictable material, and let you into his creative world. An immersion in a craft where emotion and nature are one and the same.
A timeless visit, where the wood speaks and the craftsman listens.
