To mark the Heritage Days, the "Le Pot au Lait" museum is opening its doors to the public for an original insight into life on a farm in days gone by.
A collaboration between two enthusiasts, one a collector of old tools and nostalgic for the farm work and resources of yesteryear. The other is a devotee of beautiful writing (calligraphy and illumination). Passionate, but also a promoter of the written tradition.
On the programme:
- Guided tour of the museum
Discover a unique collection of antique tools, a precious testimony to the farming skills of yesteryear, assembled by a man with a passion for traditional rural life.
- Calligraphy and illumination demonstration
Immerse yourself in the art of fine writing with a fervent defender of the manuscript tradition. Observe the gestures, nibs, inks and ornaments that have enriched the written word over the centuries.
Free admission - general public
