When you're born with rhythm in your skin, but your heart doesn't beat like normal people's, you're doomed to live against the beat. Adrien is far from stupid, he's just different and misunderstood by others. Passionate about drums, he loves all kinds of music: blues, rock, techno, jazz, bossa nova. His love affair with his instrument is so strong that nothing and no-one seems able to stand in the way of such a union, and yet... It is through this instrument on stage that he gradually succeeds in telling us his story, which is as funny as it is moving.

He talks about difference, which, when it leads to exclusion, can lead to madness. The musical dimension and the virtuosity of the actor-drummer turn this atypical show into a real favourite, acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, taking us from laughter to tears with humanity and poetry.
