Angus and I have worked in the restaurant industry all our working lives. We moved to France in 2008 to reconnect with classic French cuisine after a year of travelling and sampling dishes from all over the world.
Angus was the head chef of pubs in London and the South East. He was one of the first to offer homemade sushi on pub menus. He was also a finalist in the Evening Standard pub of the year. I recently left the number one restaurant in Mayenne (The Living Room) where we won the Mayenne Slowly Days Award in 2018.
We have now decided to perfect all our experience to set up The Hungry Cow Catering and Food Truck. Our aim is to provide a bespoke dining experience, listen to what customers want and develop ideas that meet their expectations.
As a caterer in Mayenne, we cater for all types of events, both large and small (weddings, birthdays, christenings, canapés, dinners, barbecues), with a focus on fresh, seasonal, local and homemade produce.
Our foodtruck (coming in 2020) can be placed in a location of your choice where we can cook authentic street food from the country of your choice, drawing on tastes and experiences from our travels.
