Stage de 4H - Fabrication d'un couteau

Dive into the beginnings of knife-making! Suitable for all ages and abilities! Minutia and "rough work" on the programme. For 4 hours, become a real master knife-maker and make your own personalised version of our "L'Anjou" folding knife. Using a band saw and preparing the handle (drilling and milling), you'll be able to create a unique object that's just like you, and take it home with you!

--> Discover the metallurgy and mechanics of knives

--> Assembly of the metal parts (already designed), including the stainless steel blade*.

--> Riveting of the various parts by hand

--> Choice of handles from a wide selection of woods from the Anjou region

--> Band saw cutting

--> Drilling and milling the axes of the handle screws

--> Assembling the handle

--> Shaping with a belt sander

--> Finishing by hand sanding

--> Linseed oil to protect and shine the handle

--> Sharpening

--> The last stage, cutting the menu for the aperitif!

It will take you around 4 hours to make your knife (depending on your manual skill).

*We also offer you the possibility of working on a Damascus blade! (to order)

Our sessions are for a maximum of 4 people (except for family or company groups).
