To mark the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), Villaines-la-Juhel is hosting an exhibition on the history of the Buard factory, a little-known but fascinating chapter in its industrial past.
When our first cars ran on steam! Come and discover this old model of vehicle that is still running. It came out of the Buard factory in Villaines-la-Juhel in the early 1900s.
The exhibition will also take you back in time to the equipment used in our countryside in those same years, and will show you the old tractors, seed drills and threshing machines that our ancestors used in days gone by. The entire exhibition focuses on the history of the Buard factory (panels, vehicles, photos, drawings, genealogy, etc.).
For the general public, free of charge
