Welcome to the historic village of Le Montaigu in Hambers! Nestling in the unspoilt natural setting of a listed 16th-century village, we offer you a charming detached house, perfect for a couple's getaway.
We wanted to provide generous comfort while preserving the authenticity of the premises.
The fully-equipped Renard house has one bedroom and an extra single bed in the living room.
Connected to the fibre, it offers television and music (airplay).
The accommodation
We have made sure that your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
You will be provided with everything you need for your 1ᵉʳ breakfast.
All the basics are provided for your short stays:
- Slippers, 2 bathrobes, towels (1 large + 1 small per person), soaps, shampoo, cotton...)
- Coffee, tea, chocolate, herbal teas, condiments, pasta, rice, etc.
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, with a Lacanche piano, where you can prepare delicious meals using local produce - organic farm 10 minutes' walk away with seasonal produce all year round.
You are free to use the wood-burning stove (small Godin) in the living room. It can be used for heating instead of electric radiators.
In the living room, an extra bed (converted into a sofa) 75 cm wide can accommodate one person.
The bedroom has a 160 x 200 cm bed.
A 10m2 outbuilding (bread oven) is available for storing vegetables and shoes.
Wood is stored in this annexe.

We will provide you with everything you need for your 1st breakfast.
As a partner of a nearby restaurant, we can offer you a reception service with quality meal trays.
Please ask us in advance when you make your reservation or a few days before the start of your stay.
The village is surrounded by numerous hiking trails. Horse riding can also be organised. The Laval golf course is 35 km away.
VTC bikes are available for the more sporty (lots of hills).
1 elliptical trainer and an indoor bike if you prefer to stay indoors.
A table tennis table or petanque balls for those who prefer to relax.
Riding club (horses and ponies) 10 km away.
A number of villages and places of interest nearby: Sainte-Suzanne, Saint-Pierre sur Erve, Fontaine-Daniel, for example.
