40th Embuscades
Exhibitions by 3 artists on 25 September at Les Embuscades:
Monique Brétéché :
Monique Brétéché composes from recycled elements: upholstery springs, glass, pearls, metal threads, fabric, plastic, glass cloth, wood... and assembles them to create a new object with an artistic dimension. Her research is always directed towards a dreamlike world in which light, space and fantasy coexist. The whole of her artistic approach is imbued with sensibility and sometimes leads towards poetry.
Fabrice Milleville:
This multi-faceted self-taught artist from Mayenne paints, assembles, welds and creates animated montages using all kinds of salvaged materials, photos, software, videos and sounds. Fabrice Milleville is a craftsman, researcher, inventor, explorer and experimenter all rolled into one. A tinkerer with installations who "likes to think about who will be watching" his compositions.
Rayto :
The Embuscades festival will be spotlighting Rayto, an artist from Liffre. Come and discover his works in which photographed gazes are reinvented and sublimated on canvas, offering a unique visual experience. Rayto created the statue of Vivien the Scotsman!
