In the Coëvrons, the Clos Huet gîte offers you a privileged location in the countryside, close to the Gué de Selle leisure centre (600m). There are 30 hectares of undergrowth and a 50-hectare pond, freely accessible, where you can fish, go walking, cycling, mountain biking and horse riding, go orienteering, or, in season, go swimming, hire pedalos and canoes, play swin golf...
The gîte has 3 half-storeys: the living rooms are on the 1st floor and the 4 bedrooms and bathrooms are on the upper floors. The landscaped garden of almost 2,000m² has several areas with a variety of furniture and beautiful views over the countryside. All around are meadows for horses. You'll love the authenticity of the setting, a site steeped in history.
Are you a rider? The site can accommodate several horses in a paddock, and there are many possibilities for star trekking from the gîtes (maps available on site). Eric and Jocelyne, riders, will guide you to the best trails.
All shops and services are in Evron, 7 km away.
From Mézangers, discover Sainte Suzanne, 10 minutes away, one of the most beautiful villages in France, with its castle, town and ramparts, Saulges and its prehistoric and natural sites (Natura 2000 area). The town of Mayenne is also worth a visit, with its castle turned museum on the theme of games in the Middle Ages, its historic centre, its gardens and its towpath.
The owners will be happy to help you plan your outings and recommend local producers.
