Thanks to a tour document with map, you can discover the history of Château des Arcis and its successive owners (main construction periods: around 1600 and early 19th century), the buildings and the gardens. Take a stroll around the château (and its courtyard), around the outbuildings, appreciate the recent restoration work and the reconstruction of the Renaissance garden; an exhibition of panels with photos will help you visualise the work carried out. You can extend your visit by exploring the park (ornamental garden, canals, pond, labyrinth island much loved by children). Admission includes access to exhibitions by the Mayenne association of art craftsmen, an exhibition of photographs on canvas from the "route des joyaux de la Mayenne" (Mayenne jewels route) and fun trails.
