For the 42nd European Heritage Days, the château team is once again offering a full programme of events aimed at the widest possible audience.
- Flash visits from 10.30 am to 6 pm:
Duration: 30 minutes, free.
Every 30 minutes, the guides of the Château de Sainte-Suzanne invite you to discover or rediscover the site during flash visits on a variety of themes.
- Guided tour of the fortress from 11am to 12pm and from 4pm to 5pm
In just one hour, relive 1,000 years of the fortress's history! A guide will take you through the eventful history of the two sieges carried out in the Middle Ages by William the Conqueror's troops and then by the English during the Hundred Years' War. He will also present two of the site's most emblematic monuments: the Romanesque keep and the dwelling built in the early 17th century. This is a great opportunity to take a look at the architectural development of the site.

Comfortably seated in a deckchair with your earphones on, take your place on board the "Château de Sainte-Suzanne Airlines" plane. The captain, assisted by dedicated flight attendants, will welcome you and take you on a wonderful journey to discover the history and architecture of the Château de Sainte-Suzanne. Enjoy the flight!

Adapted to all types of disability, the CIAP in Sainte-Suzanne will enable you to discover the rich heritage of the Mayenne region from a historical, archaeological, natural and intangible point of view. Free admission.
