The Fête d'Agri-culture paysanne is organised by the people of the Coëvrons in support of the Confédération Paysanne. Come and meet the people of Mayenne who are shaping the agricultural and cultural landscape.
Starting at La Giraudière in Saint-George-sur-Erve, don your hiking boots and set off along the sunken lanes, an essential and iconic feature of the Mayenne countryside. This 8km walk will be punctuated by poetry, art installations and a visit to the Jardins de la Bédardière nursery.
A shared picnic and refreshment bar will await you on your arrival back at La Giraudière. Bread for your sandwiches available at free price. But if you haven't got your sandwich, the Ferme de la Ruade will be serving galettes and crêpes on site. Don't forget to book by text message on 06 24 58 06 63
In the afternoon, there's something for everyone, with agri-cultural activities for all ages: poetry, plant mandalas, discussions, a children's area, farm visits and botanical walks. And to round off the day in style and dance, there'll be a concert!
The event and some of the activities are free of charge (in order to pay the day's participants according to their budget), so don't hesitate to bring your own food. In the event of bad weather, the event will be reduced but maintained.
