Under the inspired direction of Stéphane Fuget, Les Épopées has established itself as one of the most captivating baroque ensembles on the scene today, combining stylistic rigour with expressive power. With La Voix de Marie, the ensemble takes us on a programme in which the figure of the Virgin Mary comes to life through a selection of deeply moving works, brought to life by soprano Claire Lefilliâtre, a true goldsmith of Baroque singing.

Through a selection of major works from the Baroque repertoire, La Voix de Marie explores the diversity of feelings expressed towards the Mother of God. From poignant lamenti to jubilant motets, this programme reveals the many facets of a figure that is both intimate and universal.
