Take advantage of a special time with the artists in their exhibition to talk about their work, their relationship with the site and the techniques they use.
This exhibition brings together two artists with very different modes of expression: sculpture for François Dufeil and drawing for Anthea Lubat.
A former apprentice of the Compagnons du Devoir in climatic engineering, and a graduate of ESAD Angers and ENSAD Paris, François Dufeil places craftsmanship and the sharing of it at the heart of his work. He creates tool sculptures and invites percussionists, painters, ceramists and cooks to activate his works in public. The artist is in residence throughout the 2024-2025 season.
Born in 1987, François Dufeil lives and works in Bobigny (93).
Using a variety of techniques, Anthea Lubat's work resembles nebulae. On closer inspection, imperceptible shapes are revealed, and a whole world is revealed before our eyes. Playing on relationships of scale and with an acute sense of detail, the artist invites us to look with great acuity at the thousands of little things that surround us.
Born in 1989, Anthea Lubat lives and works in Toulouse.
