A self-taught artist, Fabien Laze explores the subtle encounter between light and landscapes, inspired from childhood by the Impressionist aura of Giverny. Preferring black ink to colour, he captures with great accuracy the luminous intensity of the places he paints, without any preparatory drawings, directly in ink. His works, deeply marked by his travels and encounters, reveal a unique sensitivity, where technical precision and spontaneity combine to offer a personal and poetic vision of the world.
