The aim of the ID Environnement association, which has been awarded the Centre Permanent d'Initiatives pour l'Environnement Mayenne - Bas-Maine label, is to help improve the quality of the environment and enhance its value. It seeks to apply the principles of sustainable development.
The Centres Permanents d'Initiatives pour l'Environnement ("CPIE" https://www.cpie.fr/) are initiators of local environmental initiatives. Approved and organised as a network, they work to ensure that people and organisations (local authorities, associations, businesses) take environmental issues into account in their decisions, projects and behaviour, with the aim of promoting sustainable development.
The CPIE label, awarded for 10 renewable years, is a guarantee of the quality of the CPIEs' commitment and actions. All CPIEs have two main missions to promote sustainable development in their areas:
● to make proposals and support local authorities, associations and businesses in designing and implementing their projects,
● to carry out environmental education and awareness-raising activities for the general public.
We share the same values: humanism, promotion of citizenship and respect for scientific knowledge.
Each CPIE operates in a coherent area, where it is aware of the environmental, socio-economic and cultural issues. It cooperates with all public and private players involved in the environment and sustainable development.
In Mayenne :
