For our season opener, come and discover an original show combining cabaret, storytelling and song. KOUDOUR is a tribute to Arab music, which turns celebration into consolation. The show is inspired by the 136 weddings the artist attended as a child and the tales of the Middle East. A show that celebrates love, passion and the pleasure of being together. Just the thing for a joyous back-to-school reunion.
There's a hustle and bustle this evening, a festive buzz. Dishes are passed around, glasses clink, voices are raised: just like at a wedding. Here, everyone knows everyone, recognises everyone, greets everyone. At the centre of all this excitement is Hatice Özer, the woman with the drum, master of ceremonies and one-woman band. With her instrument, she invites us into the evening, the evening of the KOUDOUR festival. The lights go down and the music starts: the 5 musicians - keyboard, saxophone, clarinet, zurna, davul, double bass, voice, percussion - start the concert. Music is our party.
GOOD TO KNOW
