Château de Craon is an elegant tufa stone château dating from the late 18th century. Its architecture, largely inspired by Versailles, has earned it the nickname of the "Little Versailles of Mayenne". The furniture that once belonged to Marie-Antoinette and the finely carved woodwork in the lounges also bear witness to this. The vast 47-hectare park, in particular the formal garden, forms a remarkable green setting for this architectural ensemble, not forgetting the large walled kitchen garden, the wash-house, the ice-house and the chapel, which complete this very well-preserved historical and family heritage. A typically Anjou way of life reigns here.
