The CIAP, located inside the medieval walls of the Château de Sainte-Suzanne, is a showcase for the département's heritage, presented in a fun and interactive way for all ages. Please note: the CIAP has Tourism and Disability accreditation.
Housed in the 17th-century dwelling of the Château de Sainte-Suzanne, the CIAP (Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine - Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre) is a place where you can find out about, meet and learn about the heritage of the Pays d'art et d'histoire Coëvrons-Mayenne and, beyond that, of the whole of the Mayenne department in all its diverse forms: archaeology, monuments, fauna, flora, landscapes, know-how, etc. Permanent and temporary exhibitions throughout the year. Audiovisuals, models, desks, tactile devices, wall projections, panels, guided tours and educational workshops allow visitors to discover the many facets of the local heritage.
