

Situated between Sainte-Suzanne and Saulges, Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve is a village classified as a "Petite Cité de Caractère®" where you can enjoy a picnic by the river. The starting point for a number of hiking trails and a trail station, this village is also a venue for open-air exhibitions.
In Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve, take a seat on the picnic tables by the Erve and enjoy the view of the medieval pedestrian bridge. Public toilets are available just a few metres away in the village. For a drink or an aperitif, the Bistrot Associatif is regularly open (May to September) in the late afternoon (check opening times).
As well as the authentic charm of this village, you'll be able to discover works of art all year round. If you visit between mid-June and mid-September, don't miss the "In Situ" exhibition, featuring over 200 works by around fifty artists, on temporary display throughout the village.
After your picnic break, if you fancy a hike, the N°34 (7.5 km) and N°32 (13.5 km) circuits will allow you to discover the Erve Valley. For the more sporty, Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve is a trail station with courses of varying levels and a trail workshop.
