On 30 and 31 August in Montjean, the Jeunes Agriculteurs de la Mayenne (Young Farmers of Mayenne) will be staging the 42nd Terre en Fête: ploughing competition, Moiss'Batt'Cross, auto-cross, tractor force, animal and children's centre, helicopter christenings. Catering and refreshments on site.
On Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August 2025, the Jeunes Agriculteurs de la Mayenne (Young Farmers of Mayenne) are organising the 42nd edition of Terre en Fête in Montjean, the biggest open-air agricultural event in the department. Each year, the event attracts almost 10,000 visitors, who come with family or friends to share a convivial moment and support the rural world.

For two days, young and old alike can enjoy a packed programme of events:
- Departmental ploughing competition
- Spectacular Moiss'Batt'Cross races
- Demonstrations of auto-cross and tractor force
- Children's area with inflatable structures, toy trains, drawing competition, face painting, etc.
- Animal centre to get up close to farm animals
- Exhibitors' village
- Equipment exhibition

- New for 2025: helicopter flights on Sunday with Héliberté.

On-site catering and refreshment stands.
- Saturday lunchtime: fast food
- Sunday lunchtime: fast food and catering under marquee (€18 menu / registration required)

The Jeunes Agriculteurs de Loiron (Young Farmers of Loiron) are organising a party on Saturday evening with a meal and dancing. Registration required.

Terre en Fête is much more than just an event: it's a showcase for today's agriculture, dynamic, innovative and open to the region.
